F - A German team (DJ5KX, DJ8EI, DK5OPA, DL1DCT, DL5KA and DL8KR) will
be active again as TM0BSM from the lighthouse at Berck-sur-Mer,
France on 16-21 August. They will operate CW, SSB and digital modes
on the HF bands and the QO-100 satellite. QSL via LoTW; paper cards

FO - Eric, F4FJH is active as FO/F4FJH from French Polynesia until 24
August. He will be QRV from Tahiti (OC-046) on 1-9 August and again
On 22-24 August, and from Moorea (OC-046) on 9-22 August. QSL
direct to home call.
FO - Yann, F1SMB will be active again as FO/F1SMB from French Polynesia
between 13 August and 5 September. His main QTH will be Tahiti (OC-
046), with side trips to Moorea (OC-046, 15-17 August) Bora Bora
(OC-067, 20-23 August) and Fakarava (OC-066, 25-28 August). He will
operate SSB and FT8 on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres. QSL via F1SMB
(direct or bureau), LoTW, eQSL.
HA - HG23YOTA is the special callsign to be used by the participants in
the YOTA Summer Camp 2023 hosted by the Hungarian Radio Amateur So-
ciety (MRASZ) on 5-12 August: https://www.ham-yota.com/yota-ha-2023
HL - Celebrating the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Korea (15
August 1945), members of the Korean Amateur Radio League's Chungbuk
HQ will be active as HL78V on 1-31 August. QSL via 6K0MF (bureau
only).
I - Members of ARI Ancona will be active as IY6GM from the old light-
house on Monte dei Cappuccini on 5 August. This is the place where
in August 1904 Guglielmo Marconi experimented with receiving
signals from Poldhu. QSL via IK6VXO.
LA - Chris, OE6CUD plans to visit the Lofoten Islands (EU-076), the
Vesteralen Islands (EU-033) and Senja Island (EU-046) while touring
Norway by car between around 15 August and late October. He will be
QRV as LA/OE6CUD, and will operate mainly CW on the HF bands; he
might also give QO-100 a try. QSL via Home call (direct or bureau),
LoTW, eQSL.
ON - Members of Radio Amateurclub Diest (ON4DST) will operate special
event station ON38IOF on 12-13 August from the premises of the 38th
International Oldtimer Fly & Drive In organized by Diest Aero Club.

OX - Bo, OZ1DJJ will be active again as OX3LX from Tasiilaq (grid
HP15eo) on Ammassalik Island (NA-151) on 4-15 August. He will focus
on the QO-100 satellite, 6 and 4 metres, but he will also be QRV on
the HF bands. He will then go to Ittoqqortoormiit (grid HQ90al), on
the main island of Greenland. QSL via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS, or
direct to OZ0J.
Also active from Tasiilaq will be Emil, DL8JJ as OX/DL8JJ on 11-14
August. In his spare time he will operate CW only (10 watts,
battery powered).
OZ - Andres, DG3AZ will be active as 5P6AZ from Romo Island (EU-125) on
7-11 August. He will operate SSB on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres. QSL
via DG3AZ.
SP - SP88YL is the special callsign for a multi-national group of YL
operators to be active from Checiny on 6-12 August, including some
SOTA and WWFF activities. See https://www.qrz.com/db/SP88YL for

T2 - The Rebel DX Group (https://www.facebook.com/rebeldxgroup) will be
active as T22T from Tuvalu (OC-015) in "mid September for about 20
days". Plans are to have up to nine stations QRV on 160-6 metres
mainly FT8 and CW. QSL via Club Log's OQRS.
T8 - Yas, JA6UBY and Hide, JH6JWE will be active as T88RR and T88HV,
respectively, from Koror (OC-009), Palau from 29 August to 4
September. Look for activity on various bands and modes (SSB, FT8,
FT4, FM). QSL T88RR via LoTW, eQSL or direct to JA6UBY; QSL T88HV
via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, eQSL, or via JH6JWE (direct or bureau).

TF - Lau, PF3X will be active as TF/PF3X while touring Iceland on 11-25
August. He will operate SSB and digital modes on the HF bands and 6

ary. Before that, he will be QRV as OY/PF3X from the Faroe Islands
(EU-018) on 7-9 August. QSL via LoTW and eQSL, or direct only to
home call.
V4 - Once again Gary, G0FWX will be active holiday style as V47FWX from
St. Kitts (NA-104) on 12-26 August. He will operate SSB. QSL via
M0URX's OQRS.
W - The Old Barney Amateur Radio Club will be active as W2T from the
Tucker's Island Lighthouse in the Tuckerton Seaport (mainland New
Jersey) on 5 August, from about 13 UTC to 20 UTC. They will operate
mainly SSB on 20 and/or 15 metres. QSL VIA N2OO.
XE - Once again special callsign 4A2MAX will be activated on 1-31 August
in remembrance of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe. Activity will be on
various bands SSB, CW and digital modes. Born in 1894, Father Kolbe
(SP3RN) was killed on 14 August 1941 at Auschwitz. QSL via LoTW,
eQSL, Club Log's OQRS, or direct to XE2N (N5MEX). More information

CARIBBEAN TOUR ---> Burt, FG8OJ will be active as FJ/FG8OJ from St Barthele-
my (6-8 August), PJ6/FG8OJ from Saba (8-11 August) and FS/FG8OJ from St Mar-
tin (11-16 August). When not operating via satellite, he will be QRV on 10

1A0C ---> The recent operation from the Sovereign Military Order of Malta
logged 79,959 QSOs with 20,608 unique callsigns between 26 July (10.24 UTC)

CB0ZA ---> A multi-national team will be active as CB0ZA from Cerro Centi-
nela, within the Juan Fernandez National Park on Robinson Crusoe Island (SA-
005), on 13-20 February 2024 [425DXN 1675 and 1677]. They have selected the
antennas and equipment "taking into account the place and space restrict-
tions". Plans are to have four stations on SSB, CW and RTTY; plus a station
for FT8 and another for VHF. See the details on https://cb0za.com/press/.
T2C ---> The band plan for the 10-30 October German DXpedition to Tuvalu
[425DXN 1679] can be found on https://t2c.mydx.de/?Operating_frequencies.
As for FT8, T2C will use MSHV multi-stream (i.e. they will not use the Fox &
Hound mode). Six team members will fly back home on 24 October, while the
remaining six operators will stay until 30 October. In the last week, they
will only be QRV on 40 metres and higher. T2C will also participate in the
CQ WW DX SSB contest.
