On February 24, at 05:30 Moscow time, an appeal was issued by Russian President Huilo (v. putin) about the start of a “special military operation”, he motivated Russia’s actions with a request for help from the People’s Republic of Donbass
Russian troops entered the territory of Ukraine from the territory of Russia, from the Crimea and Belarus. Rocket and bomb strikes were carried out on the Ukrainian military infrastructure, military airfields and aviation, air defense facilities. At the same time, the armed formations of the DPR and LPR began hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) along the entire front line in the Donbass and went on the offensive in a number of places.

Solar activity was up, up, up this week, with average daily sunspot
numbers increasing from 74.4 to 134.1, and average daily solar flux
from 120.3 to 157.3.
To get some perspective, I averaged the weekly averages for sunspot
number and solar flux from this bulletin and the previous three,
then compared them to the bulletins from one year earlier.
A year ago, the averages for 2021 Propagation Forecast Bulletins
ARLP017 through ARLP020 were 28.9 for sunspot numbers and 75.9 for
solar flux. A year later, the averages are 96.6 for sunspot numbers
and 138.4 for solar flux.

A good week in general with four contacts needed at the weekend to get into the lists. I did work Sri Lanka and the Falklands on Ten with Azerbaijan and Kenya on 20m.
