Mike Corey, KI1U, ARRL’s Emergency Preparedness Manager, was interviewed recently by The Weather Channel, where he commented about the important communications work carried out by radio amateurs in past hurricanes, their preparedness for coming hurricane seasons and about alternative energy sources available to the radio amateurs in diverse emergency situations.
