FO/A, FO/M & TX7, AUSTRAL AND MARQUESAS ISLANDS (Postponed). Lance, W7GJ,
informs OPDX of the following [edited]: Because of the ongoing COVID 19
pandemic, we regret that the W7GJ 6m EME DXpedition to FO/A and FO/M and
the KB7Q 2m EME DXpedition to FO/M must be delayed until 2021. Lodging
reservations already have been changed, and we are in the process of
revising the licensing and equipment importation authorizations. The
APPROXIMATE dates for the new DXpeditions are:
FO/A (6m only) - October 15-24, 2021
FO/M (TX7MB on 2m and 6m) - October 26-November 4, 2021
Exact dates and operating schedules will be posted on my website after
September 2020, when airline reservation dates for 2021 become available:
We are looking forward to contacting you and hope that this unfortunate
delay provides you with any extra time you may need to improve your
station to get ready for the FO DXpedition!

CB0Z QSL STATUS. The following was posted on July 2nd [edited]: Nando,
IT9YRE, has sent all direct QSL requests on April 14, 2020, in Europe
they have been received while in many other countries the envelopes
will have been blocked due to a Covid-19 emergency issue that no one
would have expected. He continues to receive many emails especially
from OM in the United States for information on the status of the QSL
cards, Nando cannot know where the QSL cards are located, there is no
tracking. If someone would like to try a second shipment, Nando is
willing to simply cover the cost of the stamps, considering the amount
of requests (hundreds) it would not be appropriate to take on the expense.

ZG, GIBRALTAR. During the period of September 4-10th, the Gibraltar
Amateur Radio stations will celebrate "Gibraltar National Week". Gibraltar
celebrates its historic 1967 self-determination referendum every year on
September 10th. To commemorate this event, stations can use the prefix
ZG. Robert, ZB2TT, will be active as ZG2TT during the week in the hours
he is not working. Although, he will not have a special QSL card for
this activity, he will overprint the QSO report labels with ZG2TT and
the log will be uploaded to the M0URX OQRS after the September 10th,
so that you can claim the QSL card. For the prefix hunters, he will also
upload the log to LoTW. QSL via M0URX's OQRS is preferred.
