The weekend of May 27/28 sees this year's edition of the CQ WW WPX
CW Contest. Set up years ago to provide an occasion for working
lots of prefixes, the contest draws several thousand entries by

9K, Kuwait:
Abdallah/9K2GS will be using the call 9K2K in the contest on all
bands. QSL via LoTW, 9K2GS (d).
CO, Cuba:
The T40A team will also be participating in the contest from Cuba
(NA-015). QSL via CO8ZZ (d).
CT3, Madeira Island:
Serge/R7KW and Oleg/YL3JM are going to operate from Madeira Island
(AF-014) between the 25th and 28th. They will be signing
CT9/homecalls and work together as CT9/R7KW during the contest. QSL

EA8, Canary Islands:
Jack/R2AA will be operating as EG8AA from AF-004 in the contest.

The special event station TM500LH celebrates the 500th anniversary
of Le Havre. QRV between May 25-31 and July 5-10. QSL via F6KOH,

G, England:
Paul/M0XDX and Mark/M0NCG will be providing points for the Beaches
on the Air award programme between May 26 and June 2 with the call
GB1HMB from Heacham Beach/Norfolk. QRV mainly on 40 and 20m,

LX, Luxembourg:
Lau/PF3X operates from Larochette (WW Loc. JN39cs) between the 24th

John/W2GD will be back on Aruba for the contest as P44W on all
bands. Before and after the test he plans to show up on the WARC

PA, Netherlands:
PA150LIM marks the 150th anniversary of the province Limburg. Ops
Jean-Pierre/PA2WO, Wil/PD0MHZ, Stefan/PD5S, Hans/PD1AHM, and
Harrie/PA3ARM will be active from May 15 until June 10 (including
the contest) on HF, VHF, and UHF. QSL via PD0MHZ.
SV, Greece:
Members of the Radio Amateur Union of North Aegean (SZ8LSV) will be
active from the geo park on Lesvos (EU-049) between May 25 and June
23 with the call J48GEO. Operators are Alex/SV8QG, Pantelis/SV8DCY,
Kostas/SV8DCW, Periklis/SV8DTD, and Fotis/SV8RMA. QRV on 160-10m on
SSB, CW, and digital modes. On the Geopark weekend (June 2/3) the
group will be located at the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos
