Dov/4Z4DX announces that the operations of 4Z70ARNON and 4X70EXODUS
have been postponed to November 2017.
8P, Barbados:
Dean/8P6SH plans to participate in the CQ WW DX RTTY Contest with
the call 8P50B from Barbados (NA-021) on 20m. QSL via KU9C, ClubLog
OQRS, LoTW.
A3, Tonga:
Hal/JR4OZR is going to join the RTTY Contest as A35W from Tongatapu
Island (OC-049, WLOTA 0328) on all bands. QSL via JJ2VLY (d), LoTW.
A4, Oman:
A44A, the contest station of the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society,
is going to take part in the RTTY contest for the first time in the
M/2 category. QSL via A47RS.
EA9, Ceuta and Melilla:
Jorge/EA9LZ will be active in the RTTY Contest as EF9R. QSL via
EA5KB, LoTW.
GJ, Jersey:
Kazu/M0CFW will be active in the contest with the call MJ5Z
(EU-013, WW Loc. IN89ve) on all bands. QRV before and after as
MJ0CFW. QSL via LoTW, ClubLog OQRS.
HB0, Liechtenstein:
Tina/DL5YL and Fred/DL5YM will be back on the air holiday-style
from Liechtenstein between Sept. 21 and Oct. 7 signing
HB0/homecalls. QRV on 160-6m, mainly on CW, with some RTTY
(including the contest) and SSB, running 500W into a Hexbeam and
dipoles. During their morning hours they will pay particular
attention to Oceania and Asia via long path. QSL via homecalls
(d/B).
JD1, Ogasawara:
Take/JA1UII is going to activate Ogasawara (AS-031) from the 21st
to 30th as JD1BON on 80-6m on CW, SSB, and RTTY (including the
contest). QSL via JA1UII (d/B), LoTW.
OE, Austria:
The special event station OE6YHOTA, operated by Stephan/OE6SWG,
plans to draw attention to the Young Helpers on the Air (Fire
Brigade & Red Cross) activity. QRV on Sept. 23 & 24 on 80, 40, 20
and 15m. QSL via OE6SWG (d/B).
SP, Poland:
HF27PLI marks the first (analogue) internet connection in Poland 27
years ago. QRV between Sept. 23 and Oct. 1. QSL via SQ8W.
T8, Palau:
Katsumi/JA3KIO will be paying the VIP Guest Hotel on Koror Island
(OC-009, WW Loc. PJ77fi) another visit from the 22nd to 26th. QRV
as T88XA on 160-10m on CW, SSB, JT65, and RTTY (including the
contest). QSL via JA3KIO (d/B), LoTW.
T8, Palau:
Toshi/JA3JND will be another guest at the same location from the
21st to 28th. He is going to operate as T88ON on 40-10m (CW, SSB,
RTTY, JT65). QSL via JA3JND (d/B).
V3, Belize:
Victor/WB0TEV returns to Belize for another RTTY contest operation
as V31VP. QRV from the 21st to 25, also on SSB. QSL via WB0TEV
(d/B).

Railways on the Air - ROTA:
The weekend of Sept. 23/24 will see this year's Railways on the Air
(ROTA) event. Numerous stations, e.g. GB2AVR, GB1NYM, GB6AR,
GB1BAS, GB2RDR will be active on 3650, 7150, and 14250.

Bahrain (A9) - QSL Bureau:
The IARU's list of QSL bureaus now lists the QSL bureau in Bahrain
(A9) as closed. It appears pointless therefore to send QSL cards
via bureau to Bahrain at the moment.
