M0OXO-QSL-Service:
Charles/M0OXO has now taken over QSL manager duties for
Chris/ZL2DX/ZL7DX and Michael's latest DXpedition as FP/G7VJR.
FCC Opens 135kHz and 472kHz:
The FCC is now accepting pre-registrations from US hams intending
to operate on 630 and 2200m from Oct. 16 onwards. Radio amateurs
may not operate on the bands without pre-registration. The process
ensures non-interference from PLC appliances, which will not be
licensed to operate by the FCC within the vicinity of amateur
stations registered for 135 and 472kHz.
QSL for Turkmenistan DXpeditions:
Andy/RG4F reports that Ven/UA4FCJ is now possession of logs and QSL
cards of the following DXpeditions from the years 1989 and 1990:
