4K, Azerbaijan:
David/DL7ZM, Boris/4K4K, and friends are planning to operate as
4K/DL7ZM from the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory between July 1
and 10 on 6m (CW, SSB, FT8). QSL via AD0PY (d).
DL, Germany:
The Sea of Peace award celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2018.
DL60SOP (special DOK 60SOP) will be active throughout July on HF. A

FP, St. Pierre and Miquelon:
Eric/KV1J will be back on the bands as FP/KV1J from Miquelon Island

Between July 1 and 28 the following special event stations are
marking 90 years of Portishead Radio on HF (CW, SSB): GB0GKA,

I, Italy:
The ARI section Fidenza (IQ4FE) honours the memory of Augustin de

K, United States of America:
The 13 Colonies Special Event will be held between July 1 and 10
this year. K2A, K2B, K2C, K2D, K2E, K2F, K2G, K2H, K2I, K2J, K2K,
K2L, and K2M will be active together with GB13COL and WM3PEN. An

LZ, Bulgaria:
The Bulgarian Radio Club Blagovestnik (LZ1KCP) continues to honour
the memory of Bulgarian Saints with the call LZ380PM during July.

LZ25RRC will be joining the celebrations around the 25th

OE, Austria:
The amateur radio club of Heidenreichstein (AFCH) operates as
OE3LFLB in the context of a firefighting competition in Lower
Austria. QRV between June 29 and July 1.
P2, Papua New Guinea:
Roly/ZL1BQD will be back on the air as P29RR from Wewak (OC-034)
between the 1st and 26th of July. QRV on HF with a focus on FT8.

TF, Iceland:
Michael/G0POT pays Vik/Island (EU-021) a visit from July 2 to 9.
QRV as TF/G0POT with a QRP rig. He also plans to activate SOTA

VP5, Turks and Caicos Islands:
Pete/VE3IKV and Bill/W4TAA/VE3MMQ will be active as VQ5Z between
July 1 and 10 from Providenciales Island (NA-002, WW Loc. FL31vs)
on HF and 6m on CW, SSB, and digital modes. They are using the
Jim's(K4QPL) VP5M-Contest-QTH. QSL via VE3IKV (d).
VP9, Bermuda:
Bill/KB3KYH operates holiday-style as VP9/KB3KYH between June 28
and July 3 from Bermuda (NA-005) on 20m (SSB). QSL via KB3KYH

25 Years RRC:
The Russian Robinson Club (RRC) celebrates its 25th anniversary
with the special callsign R25RRC between July 1 and September 30.
An award will be available. Celebratory activities may also be

SAQ geht zum Alexanderson-Tag auf Sendung:
The Swedish VLF transmitter SAQ will be operating on the annual
Alexanderson Day (1st Sunday in July, 2018: July 1) on 17.2kHz.
Warm-ups will start on 0815z, 1015z, and 1215z, with proper
transmissions following on 0845z, 1045z, and 1245z. SK6SAQ will be
active during these time on 7035kHz (CW), 2755kHz and 14035kHz
(SSB). SWL reports via SK6SAQ (d/B).
New WRTC Awards - Assistant Judge (4/5):
The World Radiosport Team Championship takes place from July 14
(12z) until July 15 (12z) in parallel to the IARU HF Championship.
63 teams will be competing from identical sites south of Berlin.
QSO partners can directly support the contestants with QSOs. In
order to stimulate contacts with the WRTC stations, five awards
have been created, which we will introduce here during the next
weeks.
A special prize draw will be held from the pool of those who send
in their log to the WRTC log checkers before 18z on July 15.
