The Spanish national organisation Union de Radioaficionados
Espanoles (URE) celebrates its 70th anniversary during 2019. Since
the first of April, the following special event station are active
until June 9: AM70URE/6 (Balearic Islands), AM70URE/8 (Canary
Islands), AM70URE/9 (Ceuta and Melilla), AM70A, AM70C, AM70D,
AM70E, AM70F, AM70I, AM70L, AM70N, AM70O, AM70P, AM70R, AM70S, and

French radio amateurs from the Reseau des Emetteurs Francais (REF)
will be marking the founding of IARU (April 18, 1925) between the

Park between the 10th and 14th, promotes the opening of the

In memory of Owen/G4DFI (sk), the Cray Valley Radio Society is
going to put the callsign GB4FDI on the air on the 13th and 14th.
Owen was a member of the society since the 70s and a QSL manager

Members of the Thracian Rose Club will be operating with the

Ric/DL2VFR will be paying the region around Savonranta a visit
between the 13th and 20th together with his son. He will be
operating from the station OH73ELK during the evening hours.

T32, East Kiribati:
Ken/KH6QJ operates as T32AZ from Kiritimati Island (OC-024) between

Shunji/JA1JEJ and Ichy/JH7IPR are going to pay the VIP Guest Hotel
on Koror Island (OC-009, WW Loc. PJ77fi) a visit from the 10th

TF, Iceland:

AN-004; 3Y, Bouvet Island: The long awaited activation of Bouvet
Island had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. After
losing radar and communication equipment in a severe storm about 70
miles from the island, the captain of MV Atlantic Tuna decided to
return to Cape Town in order to ensure the safety of the DXpedition
team and the ship's crew. For a statement of the captain regarding

Further attempts for a successful activation are being
planned, though without any definite schedule so far.

plan to activate Moucha Island (AF-053, WW Loc. LK11or) and Sept
