CQ World Wide DX Contest:
The upcoming weekend will see this year's CQ World Wide CW DX
Contest, one of the largest operating events in the amateur radio
calendar. Most of the items in this DXNL concern operations in and
around the contest. Good luck to all participants!

3W, Vietnam:
Sven/HB9DXB will be active in the contest as XV9DXB. QSL via EB7DX.
5B, Cyprus:
Rumen/LZ1MS will be active in the contest on 40m with the callsign
5B4AGU. QSL via LZ1MS.
5T, Mauritania:
Onno/PE5O operates the contest from Johannes' (5T5PA) location as
5T0AA. QRV before and after holiday-style on RTTY and FT8.
6W, Senegal:
Jacques/F6BEE, Franck/F8CRH, and Marko/N5ZO plan to operate the
contest together as 6V1A. QRV before with the call 6W1RW on HF. QSL
for both calls via F6BEE (d/B), ClubLog OQRS, LoTW.
6W, Senegal:
Eric/F5RPN, Misho/F8GGV, Paul/F4DVT, Xavier/F5NTZ, and SWL Patrick
will be active as 6W7PCT between the 18th and 25th, including the

8P, Barbados:
Dean/8P6SH participates in the contest from Barbados (NA-021) as
8P2K on 160m. QSL via KU9C.
9G, Ghana:
Matteo/IZ4YGS will be back on the air as 9G5GS from Sanzule/Ghana
between the 26th and 28th. QRV on 160 to 20m, mostly on SSB and
FT8. He also plans to try operating SSB via Oscar-100. QSL via
IZ4YGS (d), LoTW, ClubLog, eQSL.
9H, Malta:
Between Nov. 20 and 26, operators Kurt/DF4XX, Olaf/DL4HG, and
Holger/DL5XAT will be active as 9H3FX, 9H3OG, and 9H3TX
respectively from Gozo Island (EU-023, MIA MM-004). QRV on HF and
during the contest as 9H3TX (multi/2). QSL via homecalls, LoTW,
ClubLog.
9K, Kuwait:
Abdallah/9K2GS will be using the callsign 9K2K during the contest
on 40m. QSL via EC6DX (d), LoTW.
9K, Kuwait:
Hamad/9K2HN will be operating the contest on all bands. QSL via
ClubLog, LoTW, 9K2HN (d/B).
A3, Tonga:
Masa/JA0RQV will be involved in an international project on Tonga
between Nov. 24 and November next year. He will be operating as
A35JP from Tongatapu Island (OC-049) on 160 to 6m on CW, SSB, and
FT8. He also plans to activate the IOTA references OC-191, OC-123,

D4, Cape Verde:
Jose/CT1BOH participates in the contest as D4C (AF-086) on all

EA8, Canary Islands:
David/OK1DTP, Vladimir/OK1CW, and Jarda/OK2GG will be signing
EA8/OK5D, EA8/OL1A, and EA8/OK2GG from Fuerteventura (AF-004)
between the 21st and 28th. During the contest they will limit
themselves to one band each (80, 40, 15m). QSL via homecalls.
FO, French Polynesia:
Robert/K5PI is going to take part in the contest from Tahiti
(OC-046, DIFO FO-002, WLOTA 1041) on 40 to 10m as FO/K5PI. QSL via
K5PI.
GJ, Jersey:
Bob/GU4YOX will be active in the contest from Jersey (EU-013) as
GJ4YOX on 20m. QSL via GU4YOX (d/B), LoTW.
GU, Guernsey:
Oleg/RL5D participates in the contest as MU2K from Guernsey

HC, Ecuador:
HC0T will be operated by Alan/K0AV during the contest on all bands.

HI, Dominican Republic:
Nate/N4YDU will be active in the contest as HI3CC on all bands. QRV

HS, Thailand:
A large international team (HS3ANP, HS3XVP, E21EIC, E20NKB, HS4RAY,
HS0ZDY, HS0ZDX, HS0ZED, K3ZO, K4ZW, G3AB, 5B4AGN, LA5YJ, DL3DXX,
and LA7JO) will be active as HS0ZAR during the contest. QSL via
K3ZO.
IS0, Sardinia:
Tony/LZ5EE, Ivailo/LZ5VV, Chav/LZ1ABC, and Chavdar/LZ1AQ will be
active in the contest together from Sardinia with the callsign
IS0/LZ5F.
KP2, US Virgin Islands:
Yurij/N2TTA operates the contest as NP2P from NA-106. QSL via LoTW.
OE, Austria:
4U1A will be put on the air by OE1ZZZ and HB9RB during the contest.

Philip/K0CD is going to pay Sint Maarten (NA-105) a visit from Nov.
21 to 25. QRV as PJ7/K0CD, single band on 20m in the contest. QSL

PZ, Suriname:
John/K0TG, Tony/KM0O, Robert/K6RB, Rick/N6XI, andRonald/N0AT, all
members of the Minnesota Wireless Association, will be active

SV9, Crete:
Christo/LZ3FN will be back on the air as SW9AA from Crete (EU-015,
GIOTA KRS-005) for the contest. QSL via LZ1PM.
TA, Turkey:
TA2SE, TA0G, TA2BN, and TA1BJ will be the operators behind TC0F for
the contest. The callsign has been picked in remembrance of
Tuncer/TA1F. The group operates from Bozcaada (AS-099). QSL via

TG, Guatemala:
Dennis/KT8X operates holiday-style as TG4/KT8X between the 22nd and
28th on HF (CW, FT8, RTTY). He will take part part-time in the CQ

TK, Corsica:
A Slovenian team is going to put Corsica (EU-014) on the air for
the contest as TK0C. QSL via S50C (d/B), LoTW.
V4, St. Kitts and Nevis:
Bob/WX4G operates as V4/WX4G from St. Kitts (NA-104) between Nov.
20 and 26. QRV during the contest on 40m. QSL via homecall.
V5, Namibia:
Watch out for Uli/ZR2A/DM5EE operating the contest as V55A from
Windhoek on 80 to 10m. QSL via M0OXO.
V8, Brunei:
Hajime/JO1RUR is going to take part in the contest as V85RH from
Brunei. QSL only via LoTW.
VK9L, Lord Howe Island:
Michael/DF8AN will be active as VK9LQ from Lord Howe Island
(OC-004) between the 21st and 27th. QRV on 160 to 6m on CW, RTTY,
and digital modes. He will switch to fox/hound on FT8 depending on

VP2M, Montserrat:
George/K2DM will air is new callsign VP2MDM for the first time in

VP2V, British Virgin Islands:
Steve/AA7V will be active as VP2V/AA7V from the British Virgin
Islands (NA-023) on HF. QRV from Nov. 21 until the end of the

VU, India:
The special event station AU2JCB commemorates the birthday of
Aacharya Jagadish Chandra Bose (Nov. 30) between Nov. 23 and Dec.

YB, Indonesia:
The Grobex Team Contest Indonesia takes part in the contest as

ZF, Cayman Islands:
Stan/K5GO will be active in the contest as ZF9CW on all bands from

ZL, New Zealand:
