EG3PCD on Dec. 3 and 4 in the context of the International Day of

Jean/F8DZU brings the festive spirit on the air with TM63SC (Santa

F, France:
The special event station TM13TLT draws attention to the annual
French "Telethon" in support of research on genetic diseases. QRV
on Dec. 4 and 5 on 80-6m (SSB, CW, FT8). Operators are F1CEP,

The Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society operates the following
special event callsigns during December: GB9XMS (OP: G0SFJ), GB5XMS
(OP: G4XEX), GB2XMS (OP: G4ISN), and GB1XMS (OP: G1IVG). QSL via

I, Italy:
Marco/IK1RAE and other operators plan to put the callsign II1DCC
(Drake & Collins) on the air between Dec. 1 and the end of next
year. QRV on HF (no 30, 17, 12m) on SSB, CW, and AM. An award is

LU, Argentina:
The Radio Club Venado Tuerto (LU3FV) celebrates its 50th
anniversary with the callsign L50FV and with an award between Dec.

LZ, Bulgaria:
The special event station LZ2020XMAS will be active throughout

RA, Russia:
R30MCHS (Saratow) and R30EMER (Kurgan) are currently active until
Dec. 27, marking the 30th anniversary of the Russian Ministry of
Emergency Situations. QSL for R30EMER via RW9QA; R30MCHS via R4CR.
S5, Slovenia:
Members of the Radio Club Slovenj Gradec (S59DCD) operate with the
callsign S521PMC between Dec. 4 and Jan. 3 to support the PMC
(Peace Messenger Cities) Contest. All QSOs will be confirmed with

YI, Iraq:
Giorgio/IU5HWS has now received the callsign YI9WS and remains
active until Jan. 20 during his spare time. He previously signed

VP8, South Shetland Islands:
Lee/DS4NMJ belongs to the 34th team staying during winter on King
Sejong Station on King George Island (AN-010, WABA KR-01). Around
Dec. 4, the icebreaker Araon is due to arrive at Jang Bogo Station
at Terra Nova Bay; the crew will then move on to King George Island
in mid-January. Lee operates from the island as DT8A throughout
