HB9, Switzerland:
Members of the Swiss national organisation Union Schweizerischer
Kurzwellen-Amateure (USKA), supported by the Radio Amateur Club
Swissair (HB9VC) join the celebrations around the Antarctic Treaty
with the callsign HB60ANT (WAP-322) until the end of 2021.
Operators are Hans-Peter/HB9BXE, Peter/HB9DAQ, Fred/ HB9DAX,
Juerg/HB9DQL, Silvio/HB9LCW, and Celso/HB9TNW. QSL via ClubLog

HK0, San Andres & Providencia:
Pedro/HK3X is currently active as HK0/HK3X from San Andres

HL, Republic of Korea:
HL76V celebrates the 76th anniversary of the liberation of the
Korean Peninsula during August. QSL via 6K0MF (B).
RA, Russia:
The following special event stations commemorate the 90th birthday
of Yakov Semenovich Lapovok/UA1FA (1931-2014) between Aug. 9 and
16: RA90FA, RC90FA, RD90FA, RK90FA, RL90FA, RM90FA, RN90FA, RO90FA,
RQ90FA, RT90FA, RU90FA, RW90FA, RY90FA und RZ90FA. Ops from other
countries involved are: 4X90FA, EM90AFA, EM90BFA, EM90IFA, EM90QFA,
ER90FA, ES90FA, EV90FA, and UN90FA. All QSOs will be confirmed
automatically via the bureau; direct cards via RN3RQ, RA90FA via
RV1CC.
SP, Poland:
On the 4th of August 1921 a contract was signed to construct the
Babice Transatlantic Radio Station in Poland. The centennary is
being celebrated during 2021-2023. For the next two months,
HF1921AXO (AXO refering to the station's first callsign on VLF)
will be the first special event callsign in this context.
VP9, Bermuda:
Hen/OZ2I takes a trip to Bermuda (NA-005, WW Loc. FM72pi) from the
11th to 16th, including the WAE DX CW Contest. QRV on HF (CW) as
VP9EE. QSL via ClubLog OQRS and via OZ2I (B).
XE, Mexico:
6E0D commemorates the fall of Tenochtitlan 500 years ago. QRV
during August on HF. QSL via XE1EE (d), LoTW.
ZF, Cayman Islands:
Pete/K8PGJ will be back on the air as ZF2PG from the Cayman Islands
(NA-016) between the 15th and 21st. QSL via K8PGJ (d/B), LoTW.
VE, Canada:
The Moncton Area Amateur Radio Club celebrates its 85th anniversary
with the callsign VE9M85A until the end of August. QSL via bureau,

Wolf Harranth, OE1WHC - SK:
Wolf Harranth/OE1WHC passed away on Aug. 3, shortly before his 80th
birthday. He was the founder of the DokuFunk amateur radio archive
in Vienna and a long-time employee with Austrian Radio
International.
Bouvet 2023:
The Intrepid DX Group has announced that they are currently
negotiating with a skipper about a trip to Bouvet in 2023 and that
they have renewed their efforts to gain the necessary permission
from the Norwegian authorities. The team structure now includes
David Jorgensen/WD5COV (co-leader, operations, antennas), Kevin
Rowett/K6TD ( co-leader, systems/networks, logistics), Paul
Ewing/N6PSE (co-leader, planning, public relations, tents,
logistics). The group is revising their website at the moment and
will begin fundraising soon. They are very grateful to all previous
sponsors hope for further support.

Lothar/DK8LRF plans to return to Colombia and operate as HK3JCL
from Sept. 1 until the endof May 2022. QRV daily from 20z on 40 or

A3, Tonga:
Masa/JA0RQV arrived on Tonga on July 28 and is currently waiting
out a 21-day quarantine, after which he plans to move to a seaside
location and operate as A35JP between the end of August and the
beginning of November from Nuku'alofa/Tongatapu Island (OC-049).
QRV on 80-6m on CW, SSB, and FT8. He also hopes to visit
Niuatoputapu (OC-191), Niuafo'ou (OC-123), Vava'u (OC-064), and
Ha'apai (OC-169). QSL via JA0RQV (d/B), LoTW.
HB0, Liechtenstein:
Tina/DL5YL and Fred/DL5YM will be back on the air from
Liechtenstein between Sept. 5 and 28. QRV holiday-style signing
HB0/homecalls on 160-6m; one focus will be on 20 and 30m towards
Asia and Oceania during their morning hours.

EU-153; R1O, White Sea Coast West group: Anatoly/RM2P, Gleb/RM5P,
and Peter/RQ3P will be signing RC3P/1 from Kiy Island between Aug.
9 and 14. They operate with a focus on the Perseids on 2m but also

EU-175; CT3-7, Central group: Giovanni/IZ2DPX activates Terceira
Island (WW Loc. HM68jr) as CT8/IZ2DPX from the 14th to 19th on HF
(SSB, digital modes). He then moves on to Faial Island (WW Loc.
HM68po) for Aug. 19 to 23, and to Sao Miguel Island (EU-003, WW
