Tom/OE1TRI operates holiday-style as 8Q7TR from South Ari (AS-013,
WW Loc. MJ63ko) between Dec. 28 and Jan. 3 on 80, 40, 20, 15, and

DL, Germany:
DL0DIX, DK0GER, and DM5G remain active until the end of 2021 with
the special DOK DIX130, commemorating the 130th birthday of the
painter and printmaker Otto Dix. QSL via bureau.
G, England:
Members of the Denby Dale Amateur Radio Society celebrate the new
year with the callsigns GB0HNY, GB1HNY, GB2HNY, GB4HNY, GB5HNY,
GB6HNY, GB8HNY, and GB9HNY between Dec. 28 and Jan. 24.
HA, Hungary:
HA21XMAS will be active until Dec. 26 on HF. QSL via LoTW, eQSL.
K, United States of America:
N0T, N0R, N0A, N0I, and N0N form a Christmas train on the air from
the 23rd to 26th. QSL for all calls via K0RWB.
PA, Netherlands:
Friso/PF1B operates as PF33MAX until Jan. 17, celebrating Max
Verstappen's World Champion title. QRV on 160m to 70cm, mostly on
FT8 and FT4. QSL via bureau.
RA, Russia:
Watch out for the following special event stations in the Russian
New Year 2022 Radio Marathon: RG22NY, RJ22NY, RK22NY, RL22NY,
RM22NY, RO22NY, RQ22NY, RT22NY, RW22NY, RX22NY, RY22NY, R22HNY, and
R2022NY. Several awards are available as well. QSL via RQ7L.

SAQ Christmas Transmission The Swedish VLF transmitter in Grimeton
schedules a Christmas transmission for Dec. 24 on 17.2 kHz. Initial
tune-up is due to begin on 0730z, with the transmission proper
following on 08z. There will also bea live stream on YouTube. On
the day before, Dec. 23, the operators are planning a test
transmission between 12z to 15z. The amateur radio station SK6SAQ
will be on the air on the 24th on 80, 40, and 20m (CW, SSB).

Members of the Radio Operadores del Este are announcing their
Vieques DXpedition 2022 for Feb. 25 to 27. QRV as KP3RE from
Vieques Island (NA-249) on 80-10m (CW, SSB, FT8). QSL via EA5GL.
RA, Russia:
Andrey/R1II and Tatyana/RL1I plan to activate Mestnyy Island
(EU-086, RRA RR-06-29, RDA NO-02) as RI1PP for one or two days
during the second half of January 2022. QSL via R1II.
PY, Brazil:
Members of the Radioamateur Group of Conceicao do Coite, led by
Robson/PY6TV, are going to pay Friars Island (SA-023) a visit from
Jan. 20 to 23 and operate as ZY6A. QSL via direct.
CE9, Antarctica:
Karsten Boeddeker/DM2KX will set off for the Neumayer III (DP0GVN)
base on Dec. 27. After flying to South Africa and a 2-week
quarantine, he will continue his journey. Following a usual initial
orientation, the previous summer crew (including Theresa/DC1TH)
will leave the base at the end of February. Karsten's plans include
the installation of a new QO-100 antenna.
