The Land of Craters programme continues with an activation of the
crater Makhtesh Ramon (locator KM70jo, Holyland square F-30-BS,
WWFF 4XFF-0020) on May 13 and 14 with the callsign 4X0RMN.
Operators are Amir/4X1AR, Chanan/4Z1DZ, Dan/4Z5SL, Gal/4X1KW,
Gil/4Z1KD, Hilik/4X6YA, Roy/4X5IQ, Shimon 4Z1SH, Udi/4X6ZM,
Zvika/4X1ZV, and Zeev/4X5ZS. QRV on 80-10m with two rigs on CW,

5X, UGANDA:
Anders, SM0HPL, has returned to Uganda and is active from Kampala
as 5X7W during his spare time on 20-10m (CW, FT8/4, JT65). QSL via

C9, MOSAMBIQUE:
Kiyo/JA7NQQ (ex-9N7NQ) is currently active as C83YT from Macuti. So

CO, CUBA:
The special event station T42ITU marks the 157th anniversary of the
ITU between the 14th and 17th. QSOs to be confirmed via LoTW and

F, FRANCE:
The radio club F8KFZ celebrates its 20th anniversary with the
callsign TM20KFZ on May 14 and 15. QSL via F4FCE (d/B), LoTW.

Until the end of October, TM400MO marks the 400th birthday of the
French writer Moliere. Operators are Patrick/F4GFE and

Members of the radio club MN0NWG draw attention to Amelia Earhart's
transatlantic flight 90 years ago with the callsign GB0AEL. QSL via

The special event callsign K4RC celebrates Jamestown Landing Day on
the air on May 14 on 7265 and 14265 kHz. QSL via direct, bureau or

The callsign W1M will be used during the Scouts BSA WHOA Weekend on

W4B operates around the FMCA-ARC Spring Rally Special Event from

TR, GABON:
Roland/F8EN (ex CN8EM, FO8BV, 3C3CR) will be back on the air as
TR8CR from Gabon. He is due to arrive in the country on May 14, yet
plans to operate full-time only during June and July. Roland will

Canadian amateurs may use the following prefixes between May 15 and

3B8, MAURITIUS: OM5ZW received no license for 3B7 during his stay,
yet hopes to secure one for 2023.
JW6VDA callsign abused by pirates: Tom/LA6VDA noted that is
callsign JW6DVA was abused by pirates on May 1, 2, and 4 on 40 and
30m (CW). Tom does not operate on CW.
V7/KD7ADI: "JT" has returned home from Kwajalein with 3516 QSOs
in the log, which has been uploaded already to LoTW.
