DX Activities

3A, MONACO:
3A6M will be active on 6m from July 7 to 17. QSL via F6EXV, OQRS
ClubLog, LoTW.
5X, UGANDA:
Elvira/IV3FSG is currently operating as 5X3R until July 13 on
160-6m (CW, SSB, digital modes). She suffers from frequent power
and internet outages. QSL via IK2DUW; no digital confirmations via
e-mail please.
7Q, MALAWI:
A part of the Russian team (R7AL, RW9JZ, snd RA1ZZ), previously
active from Zimbabwe, has moved on to Malawi and operates as 7Q5RU
until July 10. QRV from the mission hospital in Embangweni on CW,
SSB, and FT8. They also have to deal with power cuts and are trying
to hire a generator. Since they are only 3 operators it is possible
that they may forego 60m activity. QSL via R7AL OQRS.
BV, TAIWAN:
Ken/BW2/JP1RIW puts the special event callsign BX0QSL on the air
from New Taipei City between the 11th of July and 30th of November.
QRV mainly on digital modes. QSL via BM2JCC.
UA, UA2, UA9, RUSSIA:
The following special event stations celebrate the 20th anniversary
of the Russian Lighthouse award programme until Aug. 31: RQ20LH (St
Petersburg), RC20LH (Leningrad region), RN20LH (Karelia), RO20LH
(Archangelsk), RM20LH (Wologda), RZ20LH (Murmansk), RA20LH
(Kaliningrad), RT20LH (Krasnodar), RG20LH (Rostow), RK20LH (Krim),
RW20LH (Sachalin), RL20LH (Primorsky). QSL via RZ3EC. An award is

XZ, MYANMAR:
Akio/JE2QIZ is active since June 25 during his spare-time as XZ2B
from Yangon. QRV mostly on 15 and 10m (CW only). The duration of
his stay is unknown. QSL via JH3SIF.
YB, INDONESIEN:
The following special event stations celebrate the 5th anniversary
of the FT8 Digital Mode Club until July 17: 8B0FTDM, 8B1FTDM,
8B2FTDM, 8B3FTDM, 8B4FTDM, 8B5FTDM, 8B6FTDM, 8B7FTDM, 8B8FTDM, and
8B9FTDM. They also operate CW and SSB. QSL for all calls via N2OO.
YB, INDONESIEN:
The Indonesian amateur radio society ORARI celebrates its 54th
anniversary with the callsign YH0R from July 9 to 17. QRV on 80-10m
on CW, SSB, FT8, and RTTY. QSL via eQSL or LoTW. An award is

6th and 13th from Rhodos on 40-10m (CW, SSB). Portable operation
will take place from the nature reserve SVFF-0159 (Anatoliki Rodos:
Profitis Ilias - Epta Piges - Ekvoli Loutani - Katergo, Rema
Gadoura - Chersoni). QSL via OK2PYA (d/B).
EU-015; SV9, CRETE ISLAND: David/OK6DJ and OK1-36573 operate from
Crete as SV9/OK6DJ between July 8 and 14 on HF (CW, SSB, FT4). QSL
via ClubLog OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.
EU-050; I*7, PUGLIA (FOGGIA) REGION group: Franco/IZ5IUY has
changed his plans somewhat and now aims to operate together with
Luca/IK5AEQ from the island San Domino, Tremiti Archipelago (IIA
Q-001; WAIL PU-037; WAIP FG; WW Locator JN72RC), both signing
IL7/homecalls until July 9. After that Franco will continue to
operate sporadically until Juy 22 while carrying out work on the
island. QSL via homecalls.
EU-076; LA, LOFOTEN ISLANDS: Ari/OH3KAV will be active from Lofoten
between the 6th and 8th as LA/OH3KAV on 40-10m (CW, FT8). QSL via
OH3KAV (d/B).
EU-125; OZ, JYLLAND WEST group: Volker/DJ8VW operates holiday-style
from Romo until July 16 as 5P8VW on 160-6m (CW, SSB, FT8). He is
located in OZFF-0004 (Vadehavet). QSL via DJ8VW (d/B), OQRS via
ClubLog, LoTW, eQSL, qrz.com.
OC-191; A3, NIUATOPUTAPU ISLAND: Masa/JA0RQV signs A35JP/p from the
10th to 16th on 80-6m (CW, SSB, FT8). Operating is restricted
somewhat as there is no power commercially available. Masa
continues to stay on Tonga until Sept. 24 and plans to visit other
islands during August. QSL via homecall (d/B), LoTW, OQRS.
Other IOTA News
1S, SPRATLY IS.: Gil/4F2KWT has received the special callsign DX0NE
together with the permit to operate from the island Pag-Asa in
the Kalayann archipelago. The permit covers Aug. 1 to Dec. 31.
An exact date for Gil's trip will be announced in due course.
6, BAHAMAS: Members of the Bahamian radio club meet from
July 9 to 11 to celebrate the 49th anniversary of independence and
operate as C6ARS on 160-6m (CW, SSB, digital). A QSL route is not
known so far.
