CR6J operates around a motorcycling event in Faro from July 17 to
23 on 80-6m (CW, SSB, digital). QSL via CT1EHX. For more

F, FRANCE:
F5LPY Bernard, F8EFU Phil, and F4IZC Steph draw attention to the
Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons 2023 event with the callsign TM23MAB.
QRV from July 17 until 31 on 160-10m (CW, SSB, digital) and via
QO-100. QSL via F5LPY (d/B), LoTW.
HK, COLOMBIA:
A number of special event callsigns (5K0ARC, 5K1ARC, 5K2ARC,
5K3ARC, 5K4ARC, 5K5ARC, 5K6ARC, 5K7ARC, 5K8ARC, 5K9ARC; 5K0CB,
5K1CB, 5K2CB, 5K3CB, 5K4CB, 5K5CB, 5K6CB, 5K7CB, 5K8CB, 5K9CB, and
5K0BG) commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Lake
Maracaibo on July 22, 23, and 24. QSL via HK3LRB, OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.

Wouter signs HL4/PB1WL between July 17 and August 16. QSL via

TG, GUATEMALA:
Dennis, KT8X, operates holiday-style from Antigua in Guatemala
between July 23 and August 4 as TG4/KT8X. QRV on 40-6m (CW, FT8).

Z2, ZIMBABWE:
Eddy, OE3SEU, has now moved on to Zimbabwe with his camper and
operates as Z21MV, mostly via QO-100, until the end of August. QSL

AS-067; JA6, UJI AND KUSAGAKI ISLANDS: Kenji, JA4GXS, activates the
uninhabited island Uji on July 22 (04z-21z). QRV as JA4GXS/6 on
160-6m (CW, SSB, FT8). QSL direct via qrz.com or via LoTW. AS-067
was last activated in 2014.
AS-079; JA6, MIYAKO ISLANDS: Take JI3DST, signs JS6RRR, JJ5RBH/6
and JI3DST/6 from Miyako Island between July 20 and August 2. He
also uses the callsigns JI3DST/p and JJ5RBH/p for FT8. QSL via
OQRS, LoTW.
EU-003; CU1/2, EASTERN group: Chris, DL2MDU, and his wife Heike,
DL3HD, are currently active from Sao Miguel Isl. signing
CT8/homecalls. QRV until the 26th. QSL via homecalls (d/B).
EU-018; OY, FAROE ISLANDS: Przemek, SP7VC, and his wife Katarzyna,
SQ7OYL, will be active as OY/homecalls between the 23rd and 27th
with a focus on 20m, 6m, and 4m. QSL via SP7VC.
EU-030; OZ, BORNHOLM ISLAND: Ron, DL1RNW, signs OZ/DL1RNW from
Bornholm between July 23 and Aug. 5 on HF and 6m, inclduing also
the IOTA Contest. QSL via homecall (d/B).
EU-064; F, PAYS DE LA LOIRE REGION group: Dirk, DL1KVN, is
currently active as F/DL1KVN/p until the 28th on 40-10m (CW, SSB)
from Noiremoutier Isl. On July 20, he plans to visit Ile d'Yeu
(also EU-064). QSL via DL1KVN (d/B).
EU-165; I*0, SARDINIA'S COASTAL ISLANDS: Giuseppe, IK5WWA,
activates San Pietro Island until July 30 as IM0C on 40-2m. QSL via
homecall.
EU-189; GM/MM, ISLE OF ROCKALL: The situation around Rockall is
still volatile. Right now, Emil (DL8JJ), Nobby (G0VJG), and Cam
Cameron are planning to return and recover the equipment that was
left on the rock during the evacuation. If all goes according to
plan, their earliest day of arrival will be July 18. If a recovery
climb is possible, there may be an opportunity for an operation of
about 90 minutes with the callsign MM0UKI. They are asking everyone
not to call them in case of a previous QSO. QSL via M0OXO.
NA-001; C6, GREAT BAHAMA BANK group: C6ARS marks the 50th
anniversary of the independence of the Bahamas on July 22.
NA-067; W4, NORTH CAROLINA STATE EAST (CARTERET TO CURRITUCK
COUNTY) group: John, WB8YJF, activates Ocracoke Island between July
22 and Aug. 4 signing /p. QSL via bureau, direct, LoTW.
NA-105; FS/PJ7, SAINT MARTIN: Paul, W7NZJ, remains active as
FS/W7NZJ until July 20 on 20-10m (FT8). QSL via eQSL.
NA-176; VE2, QUEBEC PROVINCE (ST LAWRENCE GULF) CENTRE group: A
group of Canadian operators pays a visit to Petete-Ile-au-Marteau
from the 22nd to 30th, operating as VB2M on 80-6m (CW, SSB, FT8),
including the IOTA Contest. QSL via OQRS, LoTW.
OC-005; VK9, NORFOLK ISLAND: David, VK5DG, operates holiday-style
as VK5DG/9 from Norfolk until July 27. QRV via the IO-117, AO-91,
PO-101, RS-44, and AO-7 satellites. QSL via LoTW, eQSL.

OC-155; V6, WEST CHUUK group & OC-299P; V6: YAP EAST group:
Cezar, VE3LYC, plans his next trip to Micronesia for October or
November. OC-155 has been activated only once in 2004; OC-299 has
never been active before. More information to follow later.
