Watch out for Maurizio, IK2GZU, operating as 5H3MB between Oct. 10
and Nov. 11 during his spare time. QRV on CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8, and

With the announcement of the United Kingdom to cede authority over
the Chagos Archipelago to Mauritius in the future, it is possible
that Chagos may lose the VQ9 prefix, become a deleted DXCC entity,
and gain status as a new and separate DXCC entity.
5V, TOGO:
Antonio, IK7WUL, has moved from Benin (TY2AA) to Togo and will be
active as 5V0DX during his spare time, mostly on SSB. The duration
of his stay is unknown at present. QSL via homecall (d).
8R, GUYANA:
Aldir, PYwSAD (ZZ1M), operates from Georgetown as 8R1TM between
Oct. 12 and Nov. 24 on 160-10m (CW, SSB, digital modes) and via

9X, RUANDA:
Harald, DF2WO, will be back on the air as 9X2AW between the 10th
and 22nd on CW, SSB, FT8/4, and via QO-100. QSL via M0OXO OQRS.
T5, FEDERAL RRPUBLIC OF SOMALIA:
Fabri, IV3FPP, announces a detailed report about the aborted
DXpedition to Somalia at a later date, including details about the
confiscation of their grear worth ca $40,000.
A6, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES:
A60WSW and A60WSW/1...0 will be active during the World Space Week

HZ, SAUDI ARABIA:
Likewise during the World Space Week, HZ9WSW, run by members of the
Saudi amateur radio organisation, will be active. QSL via LoTW.
RA, RUSSIA:
Oleg, RD1A, is a member of the Severnyy Polyus crew and will drift
freely around the Arctic until September 2025 and operate as

EU-026; JW, SPITSBERGEN ISLAND: Between the 9th and 15th, LA6VM,
LA7XK, LA9DL JW6VM, JW7XK, and JW9DL will be active as JW5X
together (including the Scandinavian Activity Contest). QSL via

EU-038; PA, NOORD HOLLAND / FRIESLAND / GRONINGEN PROVINCE group:
Volker, PA/DL1WH, operates from Ameland between the 12th and 26th.

NA-005; VP9, BERMUDA ISLANDS: Josh, W9HT, signs VP9/W9HT between
Oct. 11 and 14 on 160-10m (CW, SSB, FT8). QSL via homecall.
NA-122; HH, HI, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC'S COASTAL ISLANDS: Juergen,
HI3/DL4SDW, remains on the air until mid-October.
OC-031; C2, NAURU: A German team (Rolf/DL7VEE, Ronny/DG2RON,
Gerd/DJ5IW, Olaf/DJ7TO, Werner/DJ9KH, Rudolf/DK3CG, Joe/DK5WL,
Frank/DL1KWK, Axel/DL6KVA, Norbert/DL2RNS, Georg/ DL4SVA,
Olaf/DL7JOM, Christian/ DL6KAC, Andree/DL8LAS) activates Nauru as
C21MM from the 10th to 29th, including also the CQ WW DX SSB

Rangiroa a visit from the 11th to 18th and Tikehau from the 18th to

OC-086; KH0, NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS: Harry, JG7PSJ, operates
holiday-style as WH0RU between the 11th and 20th on 40-10m (CW,

SA-003; PY0F, FERNANDO DE NORONHA ARCHIPELAGO: Ben, DA1DX (ex
DL6FBL), Mark (DK2CX), Paul (DL5CW), Wolf (OE2VEL), and Renner
(PY7RP) remain active as PX0FF from Fernando de Noronha until the
