C9 MOZAMBIQUE:
Members of the Uruguay DX Group will be active holiday-style as
C91BV between the 17th and 24th on 40-6m (CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8). QSL
via EB7DX (d).
I, ITALY:
II4RCDN celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Northern Cross Radio
Telescope, one of the largest such installations in Europe. An
award is also available. QSL via IZ4FUE (d/B).
HS, THAILAND:
HS19IARU operates around the IARU Region 3 conference (Nov 4 to 8)
until Nov. 10. QSL via OQRS, LoTW.
K, USA:
The Radio Club of Tacoma invites everyone to watch out for the
elusive Bigfoot, whose presence on the bands are the special event
stations W7B, W7I, W7G, W7F, W7O, and W7T, between Oct. 17 and 20.
Awards are available as well, beginning with just one contact with
one of these stations, a Big Stomp endorsement for repeated
contacts on different days, and a Full Stomp endorsement for
working all stations.
VU, INDIA:
Jos, VU2JOS, marks the independence of India 78 years ago with the
callsign AT78I until Nov. 13. QSL via VU2JOS.
VU, INDIA:
Ajay, VU3FYK, uses the callsign AU2JOTA with a group of scouts
between the 18th and 20th.
TA, TURKEY:
TC101TC marks the founding of the Turkish republic 101 years ago
from Oct. 18 to 29. An award is also available:

AF-017; 3B9, RODRIGUES ISLAND: Watch out for Kazu, M0CFW,
activating Rodrigues between Oct. 17 and Nov. 27 as 3B9/M0CFW and
as 3B9KW during the CQ WW DX SSB and CW Contests. QSL via LoTW.
AS-031; JD, CHICHI / HAHA / MUKO ISLANDS (aka BONIN ISLANDS):
Koutarou, JP1IHD, operates from Chichijima Isl. as JD1BQP between
Oct. 21 and Nov. 3, including the CQ WW SSB contest.
EU-015; SV9, CRETE ISLAND: Christian, OE3DEC, signs SV9/OE3DEC from
near Heraklion between the 18th and 26th.
NA-012; TI9, COCO'S ISLAND: Sources report that Jose, TI2JJP, is
currently active from Cocos Isl. and TI9/TI2JJP. During a first
batch of FT8 operating he erroneously signed TI9/I2JJP and works on
correcting that mistake. So far, he has been active on 10m.
NA-016; ZF, CAYMAN ISLANDS: Christopher, AE6Z, plans to operate
with a QRP rig as ZF2XX, mostly on CW, between the 20th and 25th.
QSL via AE6Z.
NA-102; FG, GUADELOUPE: Philippe, F1DUZ, will be active as FG4KH
between Oct. 22 and Nov. 6. For the CQWW DX SSB Contest he will be
joined by M5RIC, GW4XUM, K1XX, and W1MD. The group then uses the
contest callsign TO2X.
NA-105; FS/PJ7, ST MARTIN (SINT MAARTEN): Ed, N2HX, plans to put
Sint Maarten on the air between Oct. 20 and Dec. 27 as PJ7PL,
including the CQ WW and ARRL 10m contests. QSL via N2HX.
NA-108; J6, SAINT LUCIA: Between Oct. 21 and 27, J68HZ (K9HZ),
J68CN (W0CN), J68KC (WA4PGM), J68SS (NY3B), J69DS, and J62K will
operate from Saint Lucia.
OC-035; YJ, NEW HEBRIDES: Van, N4VGE (YJ0VV), K4QQG / YJ0JS, K1NZ /
YJ0NZ, and K2SAV / YJ0SA will be active together until Oct. 30 on
all HF bands and during the CQ WW contest.
OC-035; YJ, NEW HEBRIDES: Chris, VK2YUS, will be back on the air
from Efate Isl. as YJ0CA between Oct. 23 and Nov. 4. QRV on 40-10m
(SSB) and also during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest, mostly between 21z
and 10z. with vertical antennas and a small 400W amplifier. QSL via
VK2YUS (d).
OC-040; E6, NIUE ISLAND: Jacek, SP5EAQ, signs E6AQ between Oct. 22
and Nov. 9, including the CQWW contest. QSL via SP7DQR.
