** World Wide Award 2025 **
Numerous stations, many with the WWA suffix, take part in the
present World Wide Award 2025 activity until the end of January.
5N, NIGERIA:
Dominik, 3D2USU (3Z9DX), is currently in Poland and preparing a
DXpedition to Nigeria. QRV as 5N9DTG from Jan. 25 for ca. 2-3
weeks. QSL via OQRS.
DL, GERMANY:
DL100DM celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Deutsches Museum
[German Museum] in Munich during 2025. QSL via DL8FA.
DL, GERMANY:
DA0LH (special DOK 25ILLW), associated with the lighship Laesoe
Rende will be active throughout 2025. QSL via DK5ON (d/B), ClubLog
OQRS, LoTW.
J5, GUINEA BISSAU:
Livio, IZ3BUR, signs J52EC between Jan. 26 and March 1. QRV on 20,
15, and 10m (SSB, digital modes). QSL only via IZ3BUR (d): Livio

9X, RUANDA:
Harald, DL2WO, will be back on the air as 9X2AW between Jan. 27 and

K, USA:
Members of the Straight Key Century Club remain particularly active
until the end of January, including the special event station K3Y/0

LA, NORWAY:
LA100A marks the centennary of the first amateur radio contact
between Norway and the USA in 1925, when Johannes Diesen, LA1A, and
U1YB (Dartmouth College) had a QSO on Nov 25 of that year. QSL via

VU, INDIA:
Members of the Rajapalayam International Radio Communicator's Club
[RIRCOM] (VU2IRD) celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Bharat
Scouts & Guides with the callsign AU75BSG. QSL via VU2JFF.
ZS, SOUTH AFRICA:
Throughout 2025, ZS100SARl, ZS6SRL, and ZS9HQ will be celebrating
the 100th anniversary of the South African Relay League. QSL via
LoTW.

FT4YM from Concordia base until the end of January on 20, 17, and

AS-013; 8Q, MALDIVE ISLANDS: Mamoru, JH3VAA, will be operating as
8Q7VA between Feb. 26 and May 5 on HF (mostly FT8). QSL via JH3VAA

EU-005; G/GM/GW/M/MM/MW, GREAT BRITAIN: Kev, GW0PUH, remains active
until the end of the month with the callsign GB9KW, drawing
attention to the history of KW Electronics of the 60s and 70s.
Other active calls during the same period are GB2KW (Scotland),
GB5KWD, and GB6KW (England).
NA-002; VP5, CAICOS ISLANDS: Tony, KD8RTT, pays Providenciales
Island a visit from Jan. 28 until Feb. 2. QRV as VP5/KD8RTT with a
focus on satellites and some FT4/8 on HF. QSL via homecall.
NA-104; V4, ST KITTS AND NEVIS: John, W5JON, returns to St Kitts
and operates once more as V47JA between Jan. 26 and Feb. 5 on
160-6m (SSB, FT8). QSL via W5JON (d), LoTW.
