Cipher Event - Breaking the Enigma Code? After a similar event 10
years ago, the Heinz Nixdorf Museum (Paderborn, Germany) and
Bletchley Park are going to resurrect historical equipment again,
encoding messages with an original enigma and transmitting them
with original wireless rigs.
Coded messages will be sent on April 7 on 40m (starting 0730z) from
Paderborn to Bletchley Park and radio amateurs are invited to
decipher them. The event honours the memory of Alan Turing as well
as of the team around John Harper, who sucessfully reconstructed a
deciphering machine 10 years ago.
