  First Worry Later".

3C0W, ANNOBON ISLAND. Operators Yuris/YL2GM, Kaspars/YL1ZF (ex-YL3AIW)
and Girts/YL2KL continue to be active as 3C0W from Annobon Island. The
team is expected to return to Bioko Island (AF-010), Equatorial Guinea,
on March 24th. It was mentioned last week that the logs for 3C0W will
probably be uploaded once the DXpedition is over. Also, the 3C3W's whole
log was uploaded to ClubLog. They made 30,323 QSOs in less than 10 days
of that operation. QSL via YL2GN direct or ClubLog's OQRS (direct or
Bureau). See their Web page for more details. Look for the logs to be
uploaded to LoTW six months after their operations. For more details
and updates, watch their Web page at:
                 http://www.lral.lv/3c0w_3c3w/index.html

are once again operating from some Mayan archaeological sites from the
Mexican States of Yucatan, Campeche, Tabasco, Chiapas and Quintana Roo,
using the special callsign 6E3MAYA until March 21st. Activity is to com-

on 20 meters FT8. He is operating with a KX3 with 10 watt and a end-fed-
half wave vertical antenna. Due to local power generators run by the
hotel, the noise level is very high! QSL via his home callsign. Log will
be uploaded to QRZ.com, eQSL.cc, ClubLog and LoTW at the end of March.

C6, BAHAMAS. Operators Joe/W8GEX and XYL Janet/W8CAA will once again be

CY9C ST. PAUL ISLAND DXPEDITION (Update). Randy, N0TG, informs OPDX
[edited]: Planing continues for activation August 1-9th. Details and
updates are posted on the DXpedition Web site <http://www.CY9C.com>.
Any donations go toward boat cost, shipping, fuel, logistics and are
appreciated and helpful. As a small thank you for donors, logs will be
checked at the end of the DXpedition, and if you are in the log QSLs
will be sent automatically. We are looking forward to not only working

during the CQWW WPX SSB Contest (March 24-25th). QSL via EA5KB direct
or LoTW.

FT/W & FT/G, CROZET AND GLORIOSO ISLANDS (Will Probably Stay Rare For Now).
A letter written by Sebastien, F5UFX, was sent out to the media this past
weekend explaining the status of Amateur Radio from the French oversea
territories and their project for an expedition to Crozet and Glorioso
Islands. Currently, DXpeditions to Crozet (FT/W) and Glorioso Islands
(FT/G) seem unlikely due to the many TAAF island restrictions for pro-
tecting the birds, ecosystems and safeguarding biodiversity. The length
of the letter is too long to publish here, but can be read online at the
following Web sites:
   DXNEWS.COM   - https://dxnews.com/crozet-glorioso
   DX-WORLD.NET - https://dx-world.net/project-for-an-expedition-to-crozet-and-glorioso-islands
PLEASE NOTE: As of March 10th, both Crozet (FT/W) and Glorioso Islands
(FT/G) are both ranked on ClubLog's "DXCC Most Wanted List", #3 and #13,
respectively.

HF VOYAGER. David, AA6YQ, author of DXLab - "Better DXing Through (Free)
Software", posted the following: "Jupiter Research Foundation Amateur
Radio Club (JRFARC) has integrated an HF transceiver with an autonomous
ocean-going drone. Our mission is to deploy a ham radio station that
roams the worlds oceans while providing an opportunity for amateur radio
operators everywhere to make contacts with rare locations.
"We sent this new Voyager out to the open ocean on its way to California
on January 15th, 2018 as a passenger on the JRF HUMPACs mission. As they
search for 'missing' humpback whales, JRF's pilots will guide HF Voyager
to sections of the Equatorial North Pacific that are not normally available
to ham operators. The station will use FT8 and PSK-31 on the 20 meter band
as its primary operating modes. You may also find it using WSPR in times
of poor propagation."    See http://www.jrfarc.org/hf-voyager/
The portal in http://hfvportal.jrfarc.org/ takes a minute or two to display
data.
The club plans to give a certificate of recognition to operators world-
wide that have a confirmed contact with the HF Voyager. In the future we
hope to collaborate with Amateur Radio organizations and publishers to
sponsor operating events and contests for HF Voyager contact milestones.
Gridsquare collectors, maritime operating fans, Islands on the Air par-
ticipants, and all other hams interested in this unique opportunity to
make a contact with an autonomous roving maritime station should find
this to be an exciting new aspect of their favorite hobby.
Be sure to check out our HF Voyager Blog for updates and schedules:

REALTIME BAND CONDITIONS WEB SITE <http://www.bandconditions.com>:
The purpose of this experimental Web site is to provide 24-7-365 actual
(REALTIME) band condition information to CW QRPp, QRPe and CW/SSB for
Contesters interested in increasing their scores. It can also be of
benefit to other Radio Amateurs to determine band conditions for Nets
and casual QSO's. This information is NOT based on any software pre-
dictions or any kind of satellite based readings. It is based on a
new Ionospheric sounding method called "HF Ionospheric Interferometry"
which operates very similarly to the PolSAR system used by NASA.

Z60A (Press Release). Wayne, N7NG, sent out the following on March 13th:
[edited] KOSOVO Z60A WENT QRT LAST NIGHT WITH 98,450 QSOS -- The Z60A
activation went QRT at 2020 UTC last night after 30-day-long initial
activation of this latest new DXCC entity.
A total of 98,450 QSOs included 30,541 individual callsigns from 174
DXCC entities. The delegates to a variety of support functions and radio
operating represented twelve (12) countries. They worked well together
in a real ham's spirit and assisted local Kosovar hams in many ways now
that they will be on their own among the global amateur radio community.
We welcome them most heartily to our family.
The Mission Goodwill Kosovo would like to thank those twenty-eight
people who came from near and far, flying and driving to spend these
thirty wonderful days together in the Republic of Kosovo:
  Z61DX, Z61FF, Z61VB, Z62FB, Z63DBB, DD2ML, DJ5IW, DL3DXX, DL5AXX,
DL5CW, DM5TI, ES2RR,  G3TXF, IK0FVC, K9JF, OG2M, OH0XX, OH2BH, OH1MA,
OH3JR,  OM3PC, OM5RW,  PB2T, OZ1IKY, S50A, S51F, S57AW and VE7NY
We also would like to thank those people who supported the mission at
different points of the long process:
  9A5W, K0IR, K1ZZ, K3ZJ, K3ZO, K4MQG, K5FUV, K6RV, K6TA, K8ZTT, K9JF,
N0AX, N4MM, N7NG, W3UR, W5IZ, W6SZN, W9KNI, G3BJ, G3TXF, MD0CCE, OH2BH,
OH2BN, OH2BUW, PB2T, VE6SH, YV5AM, Mr. Nicholas Cendrowicz of the European
Union and Mr. Kreshnik Gashi, ARKEP of Kosovo.
Just on the day of finishing the mission - today - there was a telephone
call from Mr. Kreshnik Gashi, Chairman of the Kosovo Telecom administration
to OH2BH indicating that just today the new ITU country code +383 and
related routing was activated and Kosovo was standing on its own. It did
not bother the spirit even if the minute cost of the initial call exceeded
USD 25.00 and worked one-way only.
The Mission Goodwill Kosovo faded into the horizon with many fond
memories of the past 10-years. Thank you for being part of it!
A LoTW upload will be done soon and QSLs are at the printers next week.
