Note that this week it only takes twocontacts to get in the table except for Sunday during the DARC 10m contest.
DX of the week 9LY1JM (Sierra-Leone DXpedition). They have been on FT8 but the call upsets WSJT-X. You can get round it by typing the call into “DX Call” then all the messages get generated correctly. It will be corrected in the next version.
John, W2JPG, says about Sunday,
“Just a note that 10 meters here in the East Coast of the USA was wild with propagation. I made dozens of contacts via FT-8 mode including South America to California. Who needs sunspots!”
Well I would guess the rest of us could do with some.

Sun: Blank again.
I got up at 6:30 UTC on Monday to take out the dog and was greeted by a perfect view of Jupiter. There was no moon and I swear that I could see the colours on the surface. Fairly soon cloud came and spoiled the view. I didn’t have time to get out my telescope.
Stoke lost 3 – 1 to Brentford with one of the most dismal displays I have ever seen. And the burgers were absolutely rubbish.
Latest result is that Stoke lose 2 – 3 in the FA Cup to Shrewsbury. We were 2 – 0 up. It’s tough being a Stoke fan.
Leeds this Saturday I’ll be there to see us get thrashed but at least I’ll have a decent bacon bap.
