The contest did of course liven things up on Thursday through to Sunday. Conditions for me weren’t too great it has to be said. But I did manage 5K0K but not in the contest and not on 10m. Worked ZD8SC on 10m at 18:00 when the band seemed dead.
Really sought after were 5T5PA (Mauritania), 5K0K (San Andres and Providencia), D68CCC (Comoros), D4C (Cape Verde)and VP6R (Pitcairn Is).
Ian, MM0IMC , says, “Loads of FT8 on 10m, Saturday morning. I wonder if this was due to the huge amount of SSB contesters on at the same time?” Absolutely!

Sun: Spotless now for 27 days.
Stoke lost to Millwall 2 – 0. Next we play West Brom on Monday evening at Stoke. Hmm? I’ll not be there, can’t easily get back after the match. And it’s on Sky, that’s why it’s moved from Saturday.
And now it’s England for Rugby World Cup Champions! Just a tad early at 9 in the morning to be drinking Guinness!
