A varied but mostly poor week. Saturday was awful. Prominent stations were RD1A/M (Russia), OH2B/B (Finland), D44PM (Cape Verde) and very few others.
OH2B/B is a propagation beacon, how does it end up top contact on Wednesday and Thursday.
If you check out Monday you will see a number /B beacon stations about, several with TEN/B as their suffix. K5TLJ/B is in Arkansas and from his QRZ.com page I would say he is an American Football fan and I’m guessing the Razorbacks team.
Last Thursday, Patrick, ON4ARJ worked LX1EA -04, SM3JBO -17 and YL3CU +09 all on data mode.

Sun: Solar Minimum doesn't give up easily. For much of July and August, it seemed like solar activity was returning to normal, with a profusion of Solar Cycle 25 sunspots and minor solar flares. But now the sun is blank again--no sunspots--and the sun's X-ray output has flatlined. Periods of quiet like these will crop up from time to time as Solar Cycle 25 sputters to life.
Stoke City lost 0 – 1 to Burton in a friendly. Very poor, not one shot on target. There were several diving headers that would have looked good in a swimming pool. In another friendly we beat Shrewsbury 5 – 1. So getting better.
We play Blackpool in the Caribao Cup on Saturday at Stoke. It used to be the League Cup and the Milk Cup at one time. Stoke actually won it in 1972 by beating Chelsea at Wembley. I was there. I shouted so much I couldn’t speak for two days.
The test cricket England v Pakistan was very much rain affected. It ended a draw.
