The early part of the week was slow but Thursday to Sunday really warmed up. Even I, G4CJC got into the spotters list on a couple of days. 7Q6M (Malawi), VP8LP (Falklands), XR33M (Chile), ZY5F (Brazil), 5Z4VJ (Kenya) were all well sought after as were quite a few others.
I worked quite a few South American stations and chased a Bolivian CP call, but without success. However I did work VU2IBI, Kash, in India. All on 10m FT8.
Sunday Chris, DL3GBO, worked M0BEW Tim from Clee in Shropshire. He said, “We both gave each other a real 599 report while nothing else could be heard in the CW section on my side, no beacon, no RBN response. That’s 10m for you! I also heard RX/FT-8 1.11.2020:
YF1DO,5T5PA,ZS6LKF, ZS6GC, ZS1DX, ZS1XG, HI8RD, HC2PY, LU9DCB, LU3CQ, CX5ABM. “Compared to CW today, there was quite a lot more to pick-up on FT-8. Above just the DX-selection (SWL only)” Nice one Chris.
M0BEW’s QRZ page gives him 1,572,341,575 lookups. Is he a world leader for QRZ lookups I wonder?

Sun: New sunspots are emerging at the eastern side of the sun. The +/- polarity of the sunspot marks it as a member of Solar Cycle 25. This comes as no surprise. Almost every sunspot this year has belonged to the new solar cycle. Seasons are changing on the sun, and today's sunspot is the latest sign of increasing activity. (spaceweather.com)
Stoke beat Rotherham 1 – 0. A scrappy game but 3 points is 3 points. Watford away this Wednesday with both teams on the same points. Reading away on Saturday. Then an international break
