A fairly standard week although Sunday was exceptional. So much so that to save space I had to limit entry to those stations with 5 or more reported contacts. I worked loads on 10m using FT4! And some more on 15m. I chased 5H3EE Tanzania, again but no luck.
Most popular DX ZD7FT (St Helena), 7Q7RU (Malawi), FY5KE (French Guiana), RL30DX (Russia special) and Sunday gave us DX from VK, LU, HI, CO, KP and other far flung places.
Eduardo, LU9DCE , says, “I always see your reports. I would like to send you an email telling you about my station and how I do to work in 10mts. I’m sure many will be amazed.” I’m sure they would be so pleased, do send me a report telling me all about your station. Maybe in Spanish and English.
Ursin, DO9UW asks, “I am a beginner on 10 m. Please send me some info about your equipment. The 10m for me is almost dead, anyway I will try further. I always read your report. 73 from DO9UW.”
Ursin all my equipment is listed on my QRZ com page. For me the important thing is the monoband Moxon beam. Keep trying, that means listening AND calling.
Chris, G1WSA, worked IK2DA 5/9, UT3HID 5/9, LZ6Y 5/9, LZ2ZY 5/9, LZ1DM 5/9, RZ3Z 5/9, IK0PHY 5/9+10 dB all on SSB. He comments, “Tony, I am using just a mobile aerial on the car (cut down Wilson 1000 CB magmount), Icom 7100 and 70W (limited by fuse in car). Helps there are some contests on but it was dead yesterday (Sat). There are some regular QSOs going on though (IK0PHY). 73 Chris.”
Are you signing G1WSA/m I wonder. I suppose you could, you might get more contacts but a bigger higher antenna is the best bet.

Sun: Three large sunspots, things are warming up, so to speak! (Actually sunspots are cooler areas)
Stoke beat Huddersfield in a 4 – 3 thriller last Saturday.
And on Tuesday against league leaders Norwich we fought back from 0 – 3 down to 2 – 3. We was robbed!! We had a goal disallowed, why? And a definite penalty turned down! Doh, who’d be a footy supporter.
