A good weekend, but mid-week was thin. Most sought after was ZD7FT (St Helena), YY1AQP (Venezuela), LU8DPM (Argentina) top both days at the weekend!
This week’s most unusual call 3G2K, Chile, beautiful coast line. It’s a special contest call. I wonder if his house and antennas are in the picture?

Sun: A relatively large new sunspot is rotating into view. But it’s not there yet.
Mark your calendar: April 13, 2Ø29. On that Friday the 13th eight years from now, asteroid 99942 Apophis will fly past Earth so close you can see it with your naked eye. No, it won't hit, but you can be excused a frisson of dread watching it pass by.
This month Apophis is making a "pre-flyby" of Earth about 16 million km away, the closest it will be before the big event in 2Ø29.
Stoke did manage a win 2 – Ø against bottom side Wycombe. No mid-week match, we are away at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
And I’m not even going to mention the cricket!
