A cracking week on Ten Metres. Just a shame I was away on holiday with no kit with me. Apologies for those who missed me last week but a break in the sun was needed. This report will be short due to all the other things I’ve got to catch up on.
I just worked 8J1RL, JARE (Japanese Antarctica Research Expedition) and chased but didn’t work (yet!) 3DA0AQ, Eswatini, both on 10m.
Special DX this week, D60AC (Comoros), FY5KE (French Guiana), LU1DX (Argentina), 5Z4VJ (Kenya) and lots of other juicy DX that I missed!
 For those who don’t know the Comoros, officially the Union of the Comoros, is an island country in the Indian Ocean, at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel off the eastern coast of Africa.

Namaskar & Hello, G4CJC, Tony. After many years yesterday – Saturday, 02 OCT 2021 -- 10 Meters band was wide open, It was amazing to work a pile-up.
Solar Indices -- Sunspots 28, Flux - 91, A - 14, K- 04
Frequency - 28505 kHz.
Time - 1353 to 1507 z.
Total stations worked 75. (+03 on other 10 meters frequencies).
Antenna -- Yagi 3 el 3 b. Short path 340 degrees to Europe.
Most of the stations were 5/9 & I received also 5/9.
Yesterday Sunday, 03 OCT 2021 also, 10 meters band was open

Sun: Two spots, sunspot AR2882 is big, but quiet. It has a simple 'alpha-class' magnetic field that poses little threat for flares.
Well Stoke City excelled themselves by beating West Brom 1 – 0, We missed a penalty, again, hit the cross bar and had so much of the play we should have won it well before the 80th minute. Never mind three points is three points
