Sunday was a good day for radio and 10m for me. I worked several US, ZS and PY stations even a SM station called me at 90° to my Moxon beam.
Really sought after was J5T (Guinea-Bissau), 3DA0RU, (+ WW) (Eswatini) , 7P8RU (Lesotho) with quite a lot of other DX down the list.
7P8RU is a Russian DX team and I’m in their log on Ten Metres!
David KO1C sent me this short note. “Tony, just a quick note of thanks to you for your promotion of this great ham band! Please keep up the great work.” I don’t know about great work but the thought is much appreciated David. Let’s hope the up curve in activity keeps going up.

Sun: 4 sunspots and growing sunspot AR2887 has a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbours energy for M-class solar flares. (Credit: SDO/HMI)
SOMETHING FLARE-Y THIS WAY COMES: Suddenly, the north-eastern limb of the sun is bursting with activity. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded a frenetic 5-hour sequence during the early hours of Oct. 26 th. At least half a dozen explosions occured during that brief movie. The blast site is hidden just behind the edge of the sun. It's almost certainly an unstable sunspot. The sun's rotation will bring it into view within the next 24-48 hours, creating a geoeffective source of solar activity. Click here to see. (Credit spaceweather.com)
Stoke lost to Millwall 2 – 1. Some very poor defending. We’ve now lost 3 in a row and are slipping down the table. We have picked up injuries too. Brentford on Wednesday in the EFL (Carabao) Cup followed by Cardiff on Saturday. I’ll be there
