There was some DX about but not in large quantities till the RTTY RU mainly on Sunday.
Interesting were 4A90MIC and EMX (Mexico), FY5KE (French Guiana), EX0DX (Kyrgyzstan), 3G1PL (Chile), V55Y (Namibia) and others.
I had go in the ARRL RTTY RU but could fine nothing Ten Metres to work (an alternative frequency was used). I don’t know if working non-contest stations was allowed. Anyway initially it looks like I got more points than last year.

Sun: Ony three sunspots but they seem fairly stable. The James Webb Telescope is fully un-wrapped and un-furled. Now there is a few months of calibrations and testing until we get the first images back.
Stoke beat Leyton Orient in the FA Cup and are drawn against Wigan in the next round. Stoke have the game against Barnsley postponed again owing to injuries and Covid. Arsenal, several times winner of the Cup were knocked out by Notts Forest.
England trudged to a draw in Sydney against Australia. It’s the first time for ages I can remember them batting out a whole day to save a game. So no “white wash” in the Ashes series. A pretty poor batting show in general
