What a dismal week for DX and propagation. Saturday and Sunday were the only reasonably good days.
I worked quite a few EAs on 10m. My prize was ZM1A ( New Zealand) but on 20m, Doh!!

The most enjoyable one for me used to be The SSB Field Day. Can’t do them anymore. The Lichfield group, of which I was a member has split up, gone separate ways and in cases become SK. It was great fun whilst it lasted. Good luck to all those who are out doors this coming weekend.

Sun: There are at least 5 live sunspots
It seemed like sunspot AR3088 would never stop exploding. Over the past four days, the strangely-magnetized active region produced more than a dozen M-class solar flares. (Spaceweather.com)
NASA will hold a teleconference at 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Aug. 30th, to discuss the upcoming launch of the Artemis I moon rocket. The first attempt on Monday was scrubbed when a hydrogen fuel line failed to fully open and properly cool one of the four main engines. NASA hopes to solve the problem in time for a new launch window on Sept. 2nd.
Footy: Stoke beat Blackburn 0 – 1 and then sacked our manager and got a new one, Alex Neil. We pinched him from Sunderland. Wednesday evening we play Swansea at Stoke.
Cricket : The third and final Test Match England v South Africa is not till next week.
