Friday through to Sunday weren’t too bad but the rest of the week was pants.
It’s hard to pick the most popular DX out but FH/UA4WHX (Mayotte), VP8LP (Falklands), HP1ELV (Panama), and LW7DX (Argentina) stand out (a bit?)
John,W2JPG, worked PY2OKB -7, PY2TMV -2, PY1KB -14, PU2YFR -4, CX2AQ -14. He heard: Many Brazilian/South American stations.
John says,
“10 meters surprisingly opened up this afternoon 3/5/19 for a few hours, mostly to South America. Otherwise the band has been dead since 2/17/19.”
Yes, it’s not easy to predict when and to where the band might open.

Sun: Today (Tuesday), a tiny sunspot is struggling to form in the sun's northern hemisphere. It is so small, it has not yet been numbered, and it may fade away before the day is done, leaving the sunspot number technically zero. Even if it vanishes, though, this funny little sunspot is worth mentioning because of its tilted magnetic field. (Spaceweather.com)
Stoke pulled off a good home win 2 – 0 against Notts Forrest. Although it was almost a disaster for me as the match started late owing to the tributes to Gordon Banks, England’s World Cup winning goal keeper also of Stoke City who died last month. I almost missed my train home. This weekend QPR away. I’ll be there it’s not too far from me.
