IARU HF Championship 2018
July 14-15, 2018 beginning 1200 UTC Saturday and ending 1200 UTC Sunday.
Objective: to contact as many other amateurs, especially IARU member society HQ stations, around the world as possible using the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands.
Online Log Submission – logs mustw be uploaded within 5 days after the event via the preferred online web service at contest-log-submission.arrl.org.
Paper Log Submission – logs must be mailed/postmarked (within 5 days after the event) to: ARRL Contest Logs (IARU), 225 Main St, Newington CT 06111 USA.
Bands: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters. No contest QSOS on 12, 17, 30 or 60 meters.

Island activities:
AS-008. Takeshi "TAKE", JI3DST, will be active as JI3DST/1 from Shikine Island (North Izu Island) between 0600z, July 25th and 2300z, July 30th. Activity will be
on 40/30/20/17/15/12/10/6 meters using CW, SSB, FM, RTTY, PSK31, FT8 and JT65A. QSL via JI3DST
(see QRZ.com for details). ADDED NOTE: In case of heavy rain or other conditions, the operation condition may vary.
AS-015. Rich, PA0RRS, is once again active as 9M2MRS from Penang
Island January 2nd and February 15th, 2019. Activity will probably be on 40-10 meters using CW, RTTY, PSK, FT8 and possibly SSB (he will have a microphone
in the luggage, but normally no SSB [possible on request]). Rich will have a Yaesu FT450D with 100 watt into a G5RV dipole with bent
