Well, the weekend certainly brought out the most improved conditions I can remember for a long time. The CQ WW SSB contest could have helped I suppose. I knuckled down and did a couple of stints of operating on the Saturday and Sunday.
It’s amazing what you learn about your own style and that of others, the capabilities of your rig, your antennas and your logging software. But I can’t operate for the full 48 hours, I need to say hello to the wife, take the dog for a walk, eat, listen to my footy team win (as it happens they did) and such stuff.
