EI - Olivier, ON4EI will be active again as EI8GQB from Fethard, Ireland
(EU-115) on 8-18 July using an hybrid wind-solar power system from
his caravan. He will participate in the IARU HF World Championship
as EI7T (the Tipperary Radio Club's special call, as he cannot use

F - Members of the Radio Club des collines de l'Artois will use special
callsign TM100ARM on 12-16 July in memory of the French Army's
Moroccan Division which fought in World War I, and again on 9-12

I - Giuseppe, IK5WWA will be active as IB0P from Ponza Island (EU-045)
on 15-26 July. He will operate SSB and FT8 on 80-6 metres. QSL via

KH9 - Philip, N7NVK is going back to Wake Island [425DXN 1403] on 6 July.
He will be QRV in his spare time, typically between 7 and 9 UTC
(weekdays). Usually he operates FT8 and some SSB on 20 and 40m.

OZ - Carsten, OZ4CG from Bornholm Island (EU-030) is active again as
OZ4SOP for the Sea Of Peace Award until 31 July. QSL via Club Log's

OZ - Once again OZ1HQ will be the Experimenterende Danske Radioamatorer
(EDR) HQ station for the IARU HF World Championship (14-15 July).

SM - Eric, SM1TDE is active as SJ1SOP from Gotland Island (EU-020) for

UA9 - R0LS, RM0L, RW0LD and RW0LZ will be active as R0LS/p from Rechnoy
Island (AS-066) on 7 July, for some 20 hours starting around 4 UTC.
They will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on 40, 20 and 17 metres. QSL via

VE - Pierre, VE3KTB will be active again as VY0ERC on 8-21 July. This is
the Eureka Amateur Radio Club station located in the environs of
the weather station on Ellesmere Island (NA-008). QSL via M0OXO's

VE - Bruce, KD6WW Mike, K9AJ will be active as KD6WW/VY0 and K9AJ/VY0
from Fafarad Island (NA-207) on 19-23 July. The last operation from
this rare IOTA Group was 18 years ago. They will be QRV with two
stations on 40-17 metres. CW will be their primary mode, but they
also plan some SSB "and FT8 is a possibility". QSL via Club Log's

VK - David, VK3DRH will be active as VK3DRH/4 from Lizard Island
(OC-187) on 5-11 July. He will operate QRP SSB on 40, 20 and 15
metres during his local evenings, from around 11 UTC. QSL via Club

W - NJ4Y, N4ESS and KE4AL will be active as K4R from Garden Key, Dry
Tortugas (NA-079) on 6-8 July. The "main purpose for the trip is to
activate EL84, one of the maidenhead grids with the least land area
of any in the CONUS, on satellites and 6m". They will operate on
the HF bands "as time, band conditions, and battery power allow".

ZF - Mike, NA6MB and Gayle, K6GO will be active as ZF2NA and ZF2GO

the North American QSO Party RTTY (21-22 July) they will use ZF1A

3Y0I ---> "We haven't been updating our website recently, but we've been
focused on securing crucial details of arrangements of our project", the
3Y0I (Bouvet Island) Team reported on 5 July. Read their "When no news means

KH1/KH7Z ---> The team on Baker Island went QRT on 5 July at 12 UTC and is
now underway, enroute to Fiji. Their voyage should take approximately six
days. According to Club Log's statistics, as of 21:30 UTC on 4 July they had
made 64,434 QSOs with 17,308 unique callsigns. The final log will be posted
as soon as possible. QSL via Club Log's OQRS (direct or bureau), or direct
to K4TSJ, P.O. Box 333, Bethlehem, GA 30620, USA. The Dateline DX Associa-
tion "has a policy of uploading all pre-QRV donor's QSOs to LoTW when we
return from the DXpedition and are confident the logs are correct. We expect
this to be about 10 days after we QRT. For all others, the logs will be
posted 3-6 months after the conclusion of the DXpedition".

+ SILENT KEY + DXpeditioner extraordinaire Erik A. Sjoelund, SM0AGD passed
away on 4 July. Born in 1934 and inducted into the CQ DX Hall of Fame in
1981, his DX activity spanned 30 years (see https://www.qrz.com/db/sm0agd).
Highlights of his career include the 1974-76 operations from Serrana Bank
(HK0AB) and Bajo Nuevo (HK0AA), several operations from Africa (notably
Equatorial Guinea, Annobon, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tome, Lesotho, Botswana,
Rwanda, Swaziland and Zaire - today's Democratic Republic of the Congo), the
unforgettable 1982 Transpacific DXpedition (3D2DX, 5W1EC, C21NI, FW0AG,
SM0AGD/KH1, SM0AGD/KH8, T2AGD, T30CB, T31AE, T32AJ, ZK1AF from the North
Cook Islands and ZM7AG from Tokelau), the 1997 expedition to Kure and Miday
(K7K and K4M), and the 1999 "Double Trouble DXpedition" to Central Kiribati
and Tokelau (T31T/T31K and ZK3DX/ZK3CW).
