MALAYSIA, 9M64. Look for various special event stations using the
prefix 9M64 to celebrate the 64th anniversary of Malaysia's
independence, until September 1. Operations will be on 80 to 10
meters using CW, SSB and the digital modes. Check QRZ.com for the
QSL info because each station's QSLs are different.

Saturday wasn’t too bad with the rest of the week being less than average. There was some 'lighthouse' activity with stations signing /LH and quite a few beacons signing /B. I could never figure out if the spotters work the beacon stations or just hear them and then spot them. Most worked DX, 5I3B (Zanzibar in Tanzania), ZD7FT (St. Helena) and CX1AA (Uruguay). ...
