II0BIKE operates around the Giro d'Italia until Oct. 25. An award

celebrate the United Nation's anniversary with the callsign 4U75B

Jo/OE6VIE draws attention to the Austrian State Treaty of 1955 with

Members of the ONZ Oostkust Radioclub (ON6HC) commemorate the
liberation of the city Knokke by Canadian forces on 1 Nov. 1944

The special event station OZ100MILL commemorates the unification of

Members of the Egyptian Radio Amateurs Society (ERASD) operate
around the official opening of the nature reserve Tigris Valley as

Z6, Republic of Kosovo:
Wolf/DM2AUJ informs the DX community that, at present, the Z66DX
activity will take part as scheduled and announced (Oct. 14 to 28,
see DXNL 2218).

SI9AM, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Amateur Radio Society:
The society has announced that operations at this station will
cease on Dec. 1. The decision to close this station is due to
financial difficulties, which prompted the 8 radio clubs who
jointly ran the station to close it down. Since July 2000 ca.
160,000 QSOs were made from SI9AM. The organisers wish to thank all
visitors and supporters.
RDA - Russian District Award:
Roman/RA3R, the manager of the Russian District Award, invites all
radio amateurs to participate in this award scheme. For ease of
operations, an electronic confirmation system is up and running,
where Russian stations upload their logs and RDA hunters may track
their progress and apply for awards.
