Well, we don’t seem to be past the minimum just yet despite the appearance of the a few correctly polarised spots a couple of week back. Just look at the lists below, they are threadbare. Not even the weekend could revive things.
Best of a poor showing were XE1XR (Mexico), TO0Z (St. Barthelemy).
Obviously there were others but not many.
I chased a Tanzania Station, 5H1FF. He heard me but I just could not get the final RR73. I have to add that this was 20m FT4 not 10m, doh!
John W2JPG writes, “This past weekend we had the ARRL VHF Contest here in the USA and even though there was no propagation or band openings, there was a lot of local activity. I made 28 contacts using FT8 Digital on 6 meters. I was wondering if there is a similar 10 meter contest? Also, do you know of a 6 meter news station like yours? Let's hope the Solar Cycle 25 begins soon so we can have some fun on 10 meters again! Thanks for your great reports!!!”
Well, thanks John for the plaudits. There is a Six Metre io.group UKSMG, they also have a website https://www.uksmg.org/landing.php.

Sun: The sun has been without sunspots for 31 straight days--a full month. This interval has pushed the current Solar Minimum into historic territory. Since 2016, there have been 825 spotless days. To find a lull in the solar cycle with more spotless days, you have to go back to the years around 1913 when the sun racked up 1023 spotless days. We are now experiencing a century-class Solar Minimum. (Spaceweather.com)
Stoke lost 0 – 2 to Bristol. Not one single shot on target for Stoke.
Nuff said! We play Gillingham in the EFL Cup on Wednesday. Ho Hum!
