Atsuo/5W1SA celebrates 20 years of operating from Samoa (OC-097)
and more than 100,000 QSOs in the log with the call 5W20SAMOA

6Y, Jamaica:
Masumi/JA3AVO, Shozo/JA3HJI, Tsuguya/JA3UJR, Kunio/JH3LSS, and
Munekazu/JI3DNN, all members of the JA3 DX Vacation Group, will be
active between the 11th and 22nd as 6Y6J from Josh's (6Y5WJ) QTH on

A5, Bhutan:
DXNL 2074 reported on A52PD. Please note, the correct QSL manager
is NR6M (d).
E3, Eritrea:
Zorro/JH1AJT returns to Eritrea between Jan. 14 and 23. Together
with Franz/DJ9ZB, Champ/E21EIC, Dima/RA9USU, and Yan/RZ3FW he will
be active as E31A on 160-6m (CW, SSB, RTTY). The main objective of
this trip is to support the Eritrean National Olympic Committee.

F, France:
TM390SR commemorates the siege of La Rochelle 390 years ago. QRV
between Jan. 12 and June 16; operators are Franck/F4DTO and

HP, Panama:
Will/AA4NC will be signing HP/AA4NC from different regions in
Panama between the 10th and 24th on HF (CW, SSB, digital modes).

K, United States of America:
Members of the Marconi Cape Cod Radio Club (KM1CC) will be
operating from the rare locator field FN51 between Jan. 18 (13z)
and Jan. 19 (21z) with the call KM1CC to honour Marconi's
achievement of the first transatlantic radio contact on Jan. 18 in
1903. Ops are K1RV, N1NS, N1DC, N1VH, and K1WCC. QRV on HF on CW,
SSB, and maybe FT8. QSL via KM1CC (d/B), LoTW.
LZ, Bulgaria:
LZ140LO celebrates the 140th anniversary of the Bulgarian
Independence until the end of March. An award is available as well.

LZ, Bulgaria:
Members of the Thracian Rose Club are drawing attention to the
115th Rose Festival with the call LZ115RF until July 31. An award
W-TRC-25 is available as well. QSL via LZ1YE.
OA, Peru:
The special event station 4T18PAX operates around Pope Francis'
visit to Peru during January. QRV until the end of the month on HF
(SSB, CW, RTTY, FT8, PSK31). QSL via OA4O (d/B).
PJ2, Curacao:
Joeke/PA0VDV will be back on the air as PJ2/PA0VDV between Jan. 16
and Feb. 8 from Curacao (SA-099) on CW with a focus on 80m. QSL via
PA0VDV (d/B).
V5, Namibia:
Rudi/DK7PE is currently active until the end of the month as
V5/DK7PE with a focus on 160 and 60m. He also plans to participate
in the CQ WW DX 160m Contest. QSL via DK7PE.
V6, Micronesia:
Sumio/JI1MDM is going to pay Pohnpei Island (OC-010, WW Loc.
QJ96cx) a visit from Jan. 15 to 18. QRV on 20, 17, 15, and 12m as
V63AKB48 on SSB and V63AKB on FT8. AKB48 refers to a band that
plays daily shows in Tokio's Akihabara quarter. QSL via JI1MDM
(d/B).
XW, Laos:
DXNL 2074 reported on John's (XW4FB) activity. His correct homecall
is KB4FB.
ZF, Cayman Islands:
Pete/K8PGJ is going to set off on his 7th "Radio Trip" to the
Caymans. QRV as ZF2PG between Jan. 13 and 21, including the NAQP
SSB Contest. QSL via K8PGJ (d), LoTW.

CX3AL uploading contacts to LoTW:
Leo/CX3AL has transferred his handwritten log from 28 April 2006
until now to the Logbook of the World. In the next step he is going
to type up his log going back to 2001. His complete logs are dating
back to 1970 and he asks operators interested in confirmations for
earlier QSOs to send him an email (leocorreag[@]gmail.com).

Torsten/DG7RO and Alexandra/DO5ALX will be active again as V31TF
and V31RU between Feb. 7 and 25. They are planning to take part in
the WPX RTTY, ARRL CW, and CQ WW 160m SSB contests. Their prefered

C96RRC/C98RRC Mozambique Island/Inhaca Island:
Members of the Russian Robinson Club are planning to activate
Mozambique Island (AF-088, WW Loc. LH04ix) from April 29 until May
3 as C96RRC and Inhaca Island (AF-066, WW Loc. KG63lx) from May 5
to 9 as C98RRC. Operators will be Vasily/R7AL, Vasily/RA1ZZ,
Al/RZ3K und Vlad/RK8A. QRV on 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, and 10m on CW,

Z2, Zimbabwe:
A Norwegian team plans a DXpedition during March 2018 as Z2LA. More
